below. Publication topics range from news and background on
Hospice Foundation, to bereavement and patient support
booklets, to publications that describe hospice care. You'll
also find publications about how to set up a will or trust,
and information about the tax-saving benefits of charitable
estate planning, advance directives, or planning for life
transitions.

Except where noted, Hospice Foundation offers a maximum of
two complimentary copies each of the publications for
residents of Monterey and San Benito counties, however there
is a $1.00 charge per item to cover shipping and handling. For
additional copies, or for residents outside of these areas,
there is a fee (plus shipping) per copy. If you have any questions, please

Hospice Foundation's newsletter includes

event news, educational information
about end-of-life care, grant-making
activities, fund management updates, and
planned giving tips. The Spring edition
is published in April and includes a
listing of donations received between
July 1 to December 31 the previous
calendar year. The Trees of Life
newsletter in November announces the
grants for the new fiscal year and
launches our holiday memorial campaign. |

Annual Report
Hospice Foundation publishes its annual
report to the community in late August
or early September, following the close
of the fiscal year June 30. The report

This 36-page booklet, compiled and
published by the Hospice Foundation, is
a helpful guide you've completed and
left for your survivors to help them
carry out your wishes in the event of
your death or incapacity.
Notes contains numerous sections for you
to fill out, indicating, for example,
the locations of important papers, such
as your will, stock certificates,
insurance policies, or the names and
addresses of your business and personal
advisors. It also contains sections for
your burial wishes and funeral plans,
and special messages to family members.
Sample letters are also provided to
assist your survivors when they need to
write such agencies as the Social
Security Administration or the Veteran's
Administration on your behalf.
