Foundation grants are awarded to tax-exempt, non-profit,
501(c)(3) organizations that offer compassionate care
services in Monterey and San Benito counties for those at
the end-of-life and their families. Services are designed to
enhance the dying person's quality of life, to ensure their
dignity, and to honor their choices about the kind of care
they want, who they want with them, and other issues.
Bereavement and other family supportive services may also be
funded.
Faxed or E-Mailed letters of intent and proposals will not
be accepted.

2008 Timetable
March 3 - Deadline for receipt of letters of intent
for new services, and full proposals from applicants
receiving prior funding from Hospice Foundation for existing
services.
April 25 - Deadline for receipt of full proposals
from organizations that have been invited to submit,
following review of letters of intent for new services.
July 21 - Notifications sent about grant
decisions.
Fall - Grants announced and awarded at Hospice
Foundation Annual Meeting; 2008 date to be determined.
