Children's Commemorative Art Competition
ongratulations
to all the participants of the Trees of Life Commemorative
Art project for 5th graders in selected local schools.
Student artists were asked to remember in their drawings a
loved one, friend, or favorite pet. Entries needed to
convey or tell a story, and the drawing had to include at least one
tree. More than 100 entries were received! Top
entries received prizes and are posted here (click to
enlarge). The Best of Show, "The Only Edd," by Jordyn
LaRocca is featured on the registration brochure for Hospice
Foundation's Living with Grief Teleconference About
Children and Adolescents. See Upcoming Events.
All other entries received Honorable Mentions.
We unfortunately could not post them all because of website
limitations. Great job everyone!....
Many thanks to Yellow Brick Road Benefit
Shop, Carmel, Calif., for a grant to help underwrite this
project.
